Why I am Offering Thanksgiving to God?

Offering thanksgiving to God is not same as proposing to someone. Well, when somebody likes someone, he or she wants to give the best material things that the world could offer. That is human nature! Sometimes people are spending and wasting so much money just to please their love ones. My God who created everything does not need any tangible things from anyone.

I thought being nice to my fellowmen and doing good works are enough to please my Lord Almighty. As long as I am not hurting anyone, God will be happy. But I was wrong! I was totally wrong! I really feel shame because I know in myself that I am nothing but He still believes in me. Thanksgiving to God is the least that I could do to repay not all but at least some of my debts I owe to Him.

Since I was young I know that God has been always there beside me. I was just really numb so I have not noticed. I am not given the chance to meet my biological father but He gave me a very kind step-dad. In addition to that, He gave me also playmates to ease my lonesome. I have siblings whom I spent my childhood life. I have a loving mother who did everything to support me. I have friends whom I made my teenage and adolescence memories. At my young age He gave me husband whom I will spend the rest of my life. And I received two additional gifts, my kids, who give me pleasures all the time.

I am getting inspirational Bible verse and inspirational Bible quote every time I read the Holy book. I feel closer to Him. I feel safe because I can fight temptations with the help of God. One of my favorite verse in the Bible which makes me stronger is shown below;

Philippians 4:6

God almighty is not asking us to give our full time to Him. Only by honest and humble prayers for our every requests is enough for Him to understand us.

I am thanking God also that I met Bro. Eliseo Soriano. Actually, he is one of the reason why I become religious person now. He helped me a lot to understand the mysteries written in the Bible. He taught me and still teaching to praise God. He made thanksgiving quotes to God that really inspire me.

Songs of Praise in Music Industry

Songs of Praise will make a big impact in the music industry in our generation. As time goes by, music evolves continuously because the manner and the resources which people are using keeps on developing. Each changes varies also with the culture and location. Some people says that the songs of the past decades are much better than today and vice versa.

There are so many people who has really talent in writing a song. Even normal citizen can compose a simple lyrics especially if he will dedicate that to his love one. Composing a group of words is another way where we can express our feelings. Happy, sad, mad, and even revenge could change someones views. If we can create a song for our fellowmen, why not construct a Songs of Praise for our Creator God Almighty?

I used to think that social  media is unreliable, untruthful and biased! They will only provide information that will give them good ratings and positive feedback. But recently, I discovered that there are people who are using the power of social media to fight against evil doers.

Let us first define social media through Merriam-Webster dictionary;

: forms of electronic communication (as Web sites for social networking and microblogging) through which users create online communities to share information, ideas, personal messages, and other content (as videos)

Nowadays, social media links can be used as another tool for job hunter people. Just one click, the list of sites where job vacancies can be viewed within less than a second. Only three things. Click, select and apply! This online communities gives people an easy way to interact with the employers. Aside from that, almost everything under and above the sun, from A to Z and from 1 to billions are searchable already. Through the use of social media buttons as shown below, it makes easier for the web users to reach easily the top social media sites.

Since the power of social media can reach even the third world countries, we are not 100% sure that the information we are getting from the web are all correct and reliable. There are so many evil doers in the Internet. Some of them are using the web to fool other people and to take advantage of them. That is the reason which gives Bro. Eli Soriano an idea to use the power of social media against evil.

Facebook Apps for spreading the good news! When Mark Zuckerberg launched the Facebook in February 2004, people get attracted immediately. It's like a virus that instantly multiply! (see : The Telegraph: The rise of Facebook: history of a social network). The application he released can be used freely by anyone who has access on the net.

The main purpose of the site is to connect the people to each other from different parts of the world. It serves as one of the best medium for communication in this generation. People find their friends where they can exchange their views and information. There is a possibility also that they could trace and locate their long lost acquaintances. Likewise, there are business minded person who are using the site to promote or to advertise their products and services. Last but not the least, there are religious group who are using the Facebook Apps for spreading the good news like MCGI group.

The First Transient Home by a Religious Group

Homeless Man 'Tests' Kindness Of Religions; 

The first transient home by a religious group is not yet known. I have seen this interesting man who made a poster to challenge which religion cares the most about the homeless. His idea is amazing. Almost all religious group are taking money from the people for so many reasons such as but not limited to for their church building. For me, instead of wasting their money for that, it is better to build a house for homeless human being!

Members of the Church of God International, as of now, is the first and only religious group in our country that launched another heroic project which is Ang Dating Daan Transient Home, the First Transient Home by a religious group, that is benefiting especially those homeless people. If that man whose picture shown above would only lives in Philippines, for sure he will receive so much shelter from this group.

Out of so many religions in our country, there is only one group who are doing real charity works to my fellowmen, as of now. I hope those other religions or rather I would say rich and prosperous religions should follow what MCGI group is doing.

"Doing good will  not result of bad work." This is one of their motto which gives them eagerness to do more good to the people. The First Transient Home by a religious group, is one of the charity works of MCGI group.
